a cape made of butterflies

Hello all! I'm back from my trip! I got to spend almost three days in pretty California in the land of Disney. It was exactly what I craved- a short getaway to a place I love with the people I love. Disneyland is glorious during Christmastime. Each building is decorated with pine and tinsel, and at nighttime there is the most amazing light displays I have ever seen. I took dozens of photos, which I'll be sure to post in the coming weeks. The only thing to note though if you are planning on taking a Disney holiday vacation is the enormous amount of people. I have never seen Disneyland so full before. But overall what an enjoyable and beautiful holiday it was.

It's been getting colder and colder here. We got our first snow of the season the day I left. I've been trying to keep as warm as possible, and this cape is perfect. I had been looking for one just like it for months. You can imagine my childlike excitement as I found it shoved of a rack among other vintage clothes. I didn't even notice the butterflies until I took it home, which made me love it all that much more. This cape would be me, had I been born a cape.

Well, Christmas is almost here. Since I won't be posting before then, merry Christmas! I'll be spending mine eating homemade crepes, watching holiday films with my family and my love, and sipping peppermint hot chocolate. I heart Christmas. :)
xo, Tori
