Gingham and Clover

gingham shirtdress ... OASAP*
straw boater hat ... Generations Collective (for sale)
black sandals ... Urban Outfitters

This post was supposed to be a play on words and I had every intention of taking some pretty pictures among the clover fields in my backyard but upon noticing how many honeybees were covering them I decided it would be best to not stir them up and had to settle for picking a few lonely clovers instead. I've had this shirtdress for a lil while now, and it's so comfy and I can't help but want to wear it all day long (even while relaxing/sleeping, shh). I'm now realizing though how often I wear gingham so apologies for the overload, this will be the last one for a long time I promise, hehe.

vintage dress // tooled leather heels ... Velour Fashion Recycled
straw floppy hat ... Forever 21

Hello! The title of this post comes from the John Denver song of the same name, which I saw fitting since I just recently returned to my country home from Denver, hehe.

I've been itching to wear this outfit since the start of spring. I got this sheer botanical print dress from a little recycled clothing shop in my town that I happened to have store credit for. After spending the majority of my credits, I was told I had $3 left, so I took a glance around to find a cute something to add on. By happenstance, I found this dress on a $3 clearance rack, and now it's become one of my favorites. It's pretty and breezy and perfect for summertime.
